About the event
The workshop will be organized as an activity of the EU FP 7 project Infrastructure for systems Biology Europe (ISBE) in order to demonstrate the importance of systems biology as a rapidly evolving discipline that seeks to determine how complex biological systems function by integrating experimentally derived information through mathematical and computing solutions. To this free three-hour workshop we kindly invite teachers at all levels of education system, representatives of ministries and pharmaceutical industry, medical doctors, media and others. We will show how new knowledge obtained by using systems biology approaches has already contribute to new solutions for biotechnology, health, pharmacy, agriculture, as well as the environment.
The official language of the symposium is Slovenian.
All participants are requested to register online. Registration is free of charge.
