CASyM winter school of Systems Medicine took place between March 29th and April 1st 2017 in Ljubljana, Slovenia and is entitled »The 3rd SysBioMed hands-on tutorial: Systems Medicine Approaches in Personalized Medicine«
The Nanodrop ND-1000 is a full-spectrum UV/Vis (220 - 750 nm) spectrophotometer used to quantify nucleic acids, proteins, fluorescent dyes, microbial cell culture OD and other compounds. It enables highly accurate analyses of 1- 2 µl samples with high reproducibility. Nanodrop has a large dynamic range between 2-3700 ng/µl of dsDNA. The system eliminates the need for cuvettes and capillaries which decreases the measurement cycle time. In addition, the high absorbance capability eliminates the need for most dilutions. The instrument performs measurments in 10 seconds.
