Center is equipped with the systems for hybridization and analysis of glass slide arrays and preparation of spotted custom-made microarrays. All required equipment for the hybridization and analysis of Affymetrix GeneChips is also available.
There is also other small equipment required for analysis and preparation of samples: UV-VIS plate reader, thermocycler (Applied Biosystems 2720 Thermal Cycler), speed-vac, centrifuges, thermo-blocks, water-baths, vortexes, magnetic stirrers, balance, pH meter, system for ultra pure water, ice-maker, autoclave, fridges and freezers (-20ºC and -80ºC).
The cell culture laboratory at CFGBC is equipped with a microbiological safety cabinet Iskra Pio, a microscope Olympus CKX41, cell incubators Sanyo with CO2 gas supply, a bench centrifuge, Adam MC automated cell counter from NanoEntek, Xcelligence RTCA DP Real-Time Cell Analyzer from Roche, a small refrigerator and a freezer.
You will need to ask authorized personnel from CFGBC for a permition to work there. Upon you have been granted access, you may use the cell culture laboratory reservations calendar to plan your work.
